Host in Cairns was established by Brian Kovacs and his wife, Tomoka, with the mission of maximizing returns for property owners and investors while ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards and presented impeccably.

Brian, a licensed real estate agent, serves as the Business Development Manager at one of Cairns' leading real estate agencies. With over a decade of experience in real estate and a deep understanding of the Cairns property market, as well as Queensland regulations and laws, Brian brings invaluable expertise to Host in Cairns clients.

Our journey with Airbnb began in 2014, during which we have had the privilege of engaging with guests from around the world. By attentively listening to their needs and expectations, we quickly achieved Airbnb Superhost status.

We believe that attention to detail makes all the difference. When we encourage our guests to 'feel free to contact us with any questions or requests,' we genuinely mean it. Our multilingual team (fluent in four languages, with additional support from native speakers) can assist with tour bookings, airport transfers, early check-ins, late check-outs, car rentals, and more.

As property owners and managers of our own investment properties in Cairns, we have extensive experience in managing short-term rentals through Airbnb and other major holiday accommodation platforms. We have witnessed various market dynamics and learned valuable lessons from both successes and missed opportunities.

To date, we have achieved Airbnb Superhost status 25 times consecutively. Our dedication and exceptional hosting skills have been consistently recognized by Airbnb and praised by numerous guests, as reflected in our excellent reviews and recommendations

Our implemented systems (market-leading channel manager software, PM software, dynamic pricing tools, etc) and fine-tuned procedures ensure that our listings do stand out and they are getting the highest exposure possible. Our listings are published on all major vacation- & holiday-home portals including Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Stayz, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Google Vacation Rentals and we operate our own direct booking website as well – of course. Our owners speak highly about the owner portal to our software which delivers full calendar- and financial transparency and making statement generation and owner bookings a breeze.
